If you are looking for an intensive introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics, this 2-day intensive training is the one. During this training, we start at an introductory level, leading attendees through the essential steps (geometry creation, material definition, model setup, mesh generation, postprocessing, etc.). And then, we explore more advanced topics (physics definition, solution techniques, multiphysics modeling, etc.). To teach this training, we combine theoretical and practical lecture, guided hands-on projects, and self-guided hands-on projects. Upon completion of the training, you will develop a strong simulation foundation and feel confident in correctly performing multiphysics modeling projects with COMSOL Multiphysics.

An introduction to graphical user interface (GUI) of COMSOL Multiphysics is provided to help learn the key steps in the modeling workflow. We will walk you through the following:

Every attendee will get a hard copy of the training handout at the training site. Training handout is for personal use and cannot be shared or redistributed.
The training will take place between 9:00am and 5.00pm, check-in is open from 8.30am. Refreshments during the morning and afternoon sessions are provided.
The COMSOL Multiphysics Intensive Training is suitable for anyone with an engineering, physics, or science background. No previous experience with COMSOL Multiphysics is required.
Attendees must bring their own laptop. A 14-day free trial version of COMSOL Multiphysics will be available for installation prior to the class.

Shoubing has over 18 years of experience in finite element methods and CAE simulation specializing in acoustics, CFD, heat transfer, species transport, structural and Multiphysics. As the founder and a chief consultant at CAEaid, he has been instrumental in the development and application and multiphysics simulation to real world problems in the automotive, aerospace, medical products, semiconductor devices, and power and energy.

Please note that your seat cannot be confirmed until a payment or a formal purchase order have been received. The training tuition is fully refundable if we receive written notification (via mail or e-mail) of cancellation before 5 business days prior to the class. Cancellations made on or less than 5 business days prior to class will be charged 50% of the training tuition. You may send a substitute in your place to avoid a fee.
